Simmons Electronic Drums - For Sale

Dear Visitors,

I've been collecting Simmons gear for over 20 years. It started rather by chance and grew into a great passion. Over the years, I've amassed around 50 brains/synths, 150 pads, and tons of documentation, flyers, schematics, merchandise, and much more. Such a collection requires space and time to maintain. Unfortunately, I no longer have the space, and due to recent family and other personal changes, I also lack the time to care for the collection. The reason for parting with a large part of the collection is certainly not to enrich myself. I will keep some highlights for myself. I will offer some drum sets to museums. I have already donated an SDSV to the Museum of Musical Instruments in Berlin. I have given some pieces to good friends.

Since my children are definitely not interested in old drum synthesizers, I will offer the devices for sale gradually before they end up as e-waste. The collection is located in Leverkusen, Germany.

The prices I list are guide prices that I consider realistic and fair. I'm familiar with the prices on eBay and Reverb, and I'm not surprised when equipment goes to waste there due to inflated price expectations. I'm always open to offers, as my assessment can be wrong.

As time allows, I will gradually publish everything here. All information is provided to the best of my knowledge and belief. Each listing includes details on how the items will be divided into packages, so everyone can calculate their own shipping costs. I have no control over the customs policies of individual countries.

I always pack very carefully using bubble wrap, well-sized boxes, and suitable packing materials. I recommend insured shipping with DHL, but I am open to all individual preferences as long as the buyer assumes the risk. The stated package sizes and weights are estimates.

Happy browsing!
